Your Impact

BCTI/CSI is actively seeking a Web Content Specialist to support our global BCTI/CSI Research team. The successful candidate should be detail‑oriented, self‑directed, highly self‑motivated, have an analytical/problem‑solving mindset, be willing to learn and upskill, and be able to balance a team approach with personal initiative. A keen interest in internet security, Cloud applications, CASB, and application/url categorization/reputation is recommended. A limited amount of travel and weekend work may be required from time to time within this role.

What the role offers
  • Classify uncategorized websites and identify miscategorized websites in a variety of languages.
  • Analyze URLs and IP addresses for security risks and make informed decisions based on contextual web information.
  • Research the rank/popularity of any application.
  • Proactively review data to train Active‑Learning technologies.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support and File Threat Researchers on complex investigations.
  • Respond to customer queries via email regarding URL/domain categorization and functional coverage.
  • Work independently to meet tight deadlines, as well as fully integrate in a fast‑paced, global, cross‑functional and multilingual team.
  • Demonstrate technical know‑how, effective communication and a get‑things‑done attitude.
What you need to succeed
  • A degree or equivalent in an IT field, or previous experience in IT, content moderation or data analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in the cyber security domain.
  • Knowledge of HTML and SQL is preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of the latest cyber security trends/landscape.
  • Hands‑on experience in web/url categorization and reputation.
  • Proficient in Windows OS and the MS Office suite.
  • English fluency and excellent writing skills are required.
  • Exceptional internet research skills and an investigative mindset.
  • Must be able to understand subtle nuances in online content; experience with website design is ideal.
  • The individual must be proactive, highly self‑motivated, organized, responsible, and innovative in their job.
  • Desired qualifications include Comptia Network+, Security+ or equivalent.
