Job summary

Digital Edge DC, a data center platform company in India, is hiring a Senior Web Application Developer to partner with stakeholders to define requirements for customer-facing and operational portals.

You will architect complex, high-performance web apps, design reusable UI components, implement APIs, and manage end-to-end delivery. You’ll translate wireframes into responsive interfaces and mentor junior developers while applying engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of web application development with React.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong UI/UX practices and frontend performance.
• Hands-on with containerization, Kubernetes, and Azure services.

What we need:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, the Senior Web Application Developer will partner closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements for customer-facing and operational portal solutions. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the product roadmap, establishing detailed project plans, and delivering high-quality features and functionality aligned with business objectives. This position is based in India.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and develop complex, high-performance web applications with a focus on scalability, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Design and maintain reusable, consistent UI components; build rich and interactive data visualizations.
• Design and implement API for frontend and integration with different systems.
• Manage applications end-to-end: environment setup, development, deployment and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to illustrate POC, translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
• Perform technical documentation, implement software engineering best practices, perform code review and mentor junior developers.

The successful candidate:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
• 6+ years of experience in web application development with component-based framework (React) .
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.
• Hands-on experience in containerization, Kubernetes and integrating with Azure services (e.g., AKS, SQL Database, etc.)

Preferred:

• Experience in automated testing.
• Understanding of UX analytics and site optimization.
• Experience in DevSecOps.
• Experience in application monitoring.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding / agentic coding and AI integration.
• Exposure to server-side rendering frameworks.
