Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Windows Device Driver Engineer to design and enhance Windows device drivers and low-level system software for graphics, multimedia, and platform devices. You will design, develop, and debug both user-mode and kernel-mode drivers using WDF/WDK and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Capgemini’s global organization.

The role emphasizes driver porting, WHQL compliance, and release deliverables, with strong debugging skills in WinDbg and BSOD analysis,

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Windows device driver development.
• Strong expertise in WDF, WDK, C/C++, and Windows OS internals.
• Experience with Graphics, Multimedia, NPU, or I/O driver development.
• Strong debugging skills using WinDbg and BSOD analysis.
• Good understanding of x86 architecture, PCIe, USB, I2C, and embedded systems.
• Experience with low-level hardware programming, driver certification (WHQL), and driver porting.
• Familiarity with BIOS, DDR technologies, platform security, and SoC power management is an added advantage.
• Experience with Git, Gerrit, JIRA, and software development lifecycle processes.

Your Role
