A global leader in automation solutions in Pune is seeking an experienced professional in warehouse logistics. The role involves managing daily operations, handling shipments, and ensuring compliance with finance and customs procedures. Candidates should have 6–8 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong knowledge of inventory management. Plan and manage daily warehouse operations, including material inward, inspection, GRN, storage.
Handle domestic & export shipments, including packaging, dispatch documentation, and logistics coordination.
Coordinate with purchase, suppliers, and cross-functional teams for material returns, , and rework/job work activities.
maintain clear records of inventory storage, operational stock transfer, adjustments on RDC/NRDC by creating suitable IT/IJ/IA/Manual GST invoice
Submission of post shipment documents & invoices to finance, taxation on monthly basis, keeping email & MIS record of it
LCR / GRN of Inward material, quantity Verification, storage & issuing of material
Get the Shipment packaged for Local dispatches & exports as per packaging standards defined, take photographs of material dispatched for record keeping.
Providing support to internal and external customers includes logistics arrangement, shipment tracking, proof of delivery, damages, and other traffic related needs
Coordinate and support with packaging supplies. Determine dimensions, weight, cost, and inventory of packaging materials.
Analyze the type of vehicles / containers needed for the movement of goods / cargo.
Need based Rate negotiation and finalization of freight forwarders, Shipping line, Airline and Inland transportation to ensure timely material delivery with reduction in logistic cost and lead time.
Lead 5S and safety initiatives within the warehouse to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
Monitor and control non-moving and expense items, ensuring cost optimization and tracking of material usage.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive Kaizen initiatives for cost savings and operational efficiency.
Maintain record of all incoming & outgoing, storages, RDC/NRDC, damage, underinsurance material of warehouse – Stores
Effective execution of company policies and procedures relating to Warehouse & Logistics (including but not limited to, safety and ethics).
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations (inward & Outward), inventory management, record keeping and logistics.
Knowledge about E-way bill system and compliance requirements.
Well conversant with finance, Direct/Indirect Taxation, GST, Customs Duty & Freight Forwarding, INCO Terms, Customs Procedures & EXIM Docs handling.
Knowledge about wooden / project packaging.
Proficiency in Oracle (R12), JDE ERP, and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with GRN, FIFO, dispatch documentation, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to prepare MIS and audit reports.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
