Coventine Digital is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Azure Databricks) for an immediate opportunity in Bangalore. The role focuses on designing large-scale data infra, Data Lakehouse pipelines, and secure ETL/ELT solutions with Databricks, PySpark, and Azure services.

The ideal candidate has 9–12 years total experience, 6+ years with Databricks, and can collaborate with onsite and global teams, driving data governance and pipeline reliability. 5 days WFO, immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Databricks experience (mandatory).
• Strong PySpark and Python development.
• Azure: ADF, ADLS, Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault.
• Data ingestion, connectors and integration frameworks.
• Strong SQL and performance tuning.
• Data architecture and DWH concepts required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience collaborating with onsite teams and understanding end-to-end requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect large-scale data infrastructure and Data Lakehouse pipelines.
• Convert business requirements into secure and automated ETL/ELT solutions.
• Optimize Databricks and Data Lake storage/compute costs.
• Troubleshoot production pipeline failures and data quality issues.
• Mentor and coordinate with global teams and ensure governance and pipeline reliability.
