Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring a SAP ABAP Consultant for Hyderabad. The role involves designing, developing and supporting ABAP solutions, working with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust SAP applications.

The candidate should have 4–10 years of SAP ABAP experience, including RICEF components, ABAP OO and S/4HANA ABAP exposure. Walk-in interviews will be conducted at Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on with RICEF: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP OO, Data Dictionary, RFCs and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support SAP ABAP solutions.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements.
• Develop and enhance custom SAP applications and reports.
• Perform code reviews, debugging and production support.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP development
• Hands-on expertise in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
• Experience with ALV Reports, BDC, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Smart Forms and SAP Scripts
• Knowledge of Data Dictionary, Function Modules, RFCs and Workflows
• Experience in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOABAP)
• Understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD, FI, PP, and WM modules
• Experience in performance tuning and debugging
• S/4HANA ABAP development experience preferred
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
