Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an Oracle EBS technical developer for an in-person walk-in drive in Chennai. The role focuses on RICEFW development with Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, and OAF/ADF, plus API interfaces and EBS workflows.

You will support P2P and O2C processes, debug, tune performance, and translate functional spec docs into technical designs. The position requires 5–12 years of hands-on EBS experience, with exposure to Unix scripting and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-12 years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development.
• Strong hands-on with Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports and OAF/ADF preferred.
• Experience with RICEFW components and EBS APIs is essential.
• Exposure to P2P and O2C flows and functional setups.
• Ability to interpret MD050/BR100 and convert to technical MD070/TE040.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize RICEFW components across EBS modules.
• Work with PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, and OAF/ADF for extensions and interfaces.
• Support P2P/O2C processes, API integrations, and concurrent programs.
• Prepare technical docs from functional specs and assist in go-live activities.
• Provide Unix scripting, performance tuning, debugging, and post-live support.

Required Technical Skill Set - Oracle EBS Technical Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in RICEFW components:
  • a) Reports (XML Publisher / BI Publisher)
  • b) Interfaces (Open Interfaces, APIs)
  • c) Conversions (FBDI, Standard Open Interfaces)
  • d) Extensions (OAF, Forms Personalization)
  • e) Workflows & Alerts
• Strong hands on programming skills in:
  • a) Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
  • b) Oracle Forms & Reports
  • c) OAF / ADF (optional but preferred)
• Good functional understanding of at least two EBS modules, such as:
  • a) Financials: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
  • b) SCM: PO, INV, OM
• Exposure to P2P and O2C flows, accounting flows, and functional setups.
• Experience working with EBS APIs, Value Sets, Concurrent Programs, Flex fields (KFF & DFF).
• Ability to interpret functional documents (MD050/BR100) and convert them into technical documents (MD070/TE040).
• Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting, performance tuning, debugging & tracing.
• Experience supporting CRP, SIT, UAT, go live, and post production support cycles.
