Job summary

Sirius Lync India in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will build RESTful APIs, work with databases, and ensure robust security and performance in a client-site setting.

Expect a full-time role with 4–8 years of experience, the position requires five days per week at client location in Hyderabad and shifts per roster.

Qualifications

• Proven Java backend development experience (Java 8/11/17+).
• Experience building microservices with REST APIs and Spring ecosystem.
• Strong SQL knowledge with MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle; NoSQL familiarity.
• Experience with CI/CD and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

About The Role:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and database technologies. Build robust enterprise applications in collaboration with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain microservices; develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and manage data
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps practices, and troubleshoot production issues
• Write clean, maintainable, documented code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills:

• Strong Java proficiency (Java 8/11/17+)
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate/JPA
• Microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle; familiarity with NoSQL databases

Work and Interview Requirements:
