Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Eng/Mechatronics.
• 5+ years of experience in motor control, power electronics, and BMS.
• Hands-on modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity models for motors and batteries, capturing dynamic, thermal, and electrical behavior.
• Design and simulate motor control algorithms such as FOC, sensorless control, and torque/speed regulation.
• Model battery behavior including SOC, SOH, thermal dynamics, and degradation patterns.
• Integrate motor and battery models for system-level performance under varying loads and environments.
• Validate control strategies through virtual prototypes and refine models from experimental data.
• Optimize motor and battery control parameters for efficiency, thermal management, and durability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support embedded control implementation and validation.
• Understand embedded hardware/software design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-fidelity models for electric motors and battery systems, capturing dynamic, thermal, and electrical characteristics.
• Design and simulate motor control algorithms such as Field-Oriented Control (FOC), sensorless control, and torque/speed regulation.
• Model battery behavior including State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), thermal dynamics, and degradation patterns.
• Integrate motor and battery models for system-level performance analysis under varying load and environmental conditions.
• Validate control strategies through virtual prototypes and refine models using experimental data.
• Optimize motor and battery control parameters for efficiency, thermal management, and durability.
• Knowledge of modeling product dynamics for torque load, vibration, and system interaction analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support embedded control implementation and product validation.
• Understanding of Embedded H/W and F/W design and implementation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in motor control theory, battery management systems (BMS), and system dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape Electrical.
• Knowledge of control algorithm development, power electronics, and real-time simulation (MIL/HIL).
