Job summary

Pi Square Technologies is seeking a Senior Analyst Data Science in Hyderabad to build and validate risk and finance models. You will work with large-scale data, perform ML and statistical analyses, and deliver actionable insights to global clients.

This IC role requires strong Python/SQL skills, model validation expertise, and excellent communication for client-facing engagements. Responsibilities include end-to-end model development, EDA, and collaboration with internal teams to share knowledge

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Science / Predictive Analytics.
• Hands-on Python and SQL expertise.
• Strong background in statistical modeling and ML algorithms.
• Experience in model validation and documentation.
• Ability to translate findings into business insights.
• GCP exposure is a plus; GenAI/LLM and BI tools desirable.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst Data Science with strong skills in predictive modeling and statistical analysis. The role focuses on building and validating risk and finance-related models, working with large-scale data, and delivering actionable insights to global clients.

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with direct client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document ML predictive models for automotive risk and finance use cases
• Extract, process, and analyze large datasets using SQL.
• Model development (regression and classification), should have strong exp in performing EDA,
• Build and validate statistical and machine learning models including regression and advanced predictive techniques.
• Interpret model inputs/outputs and provide actionable insights with clear documentation.
• Challenge and enhance existing traditional finance models through robust statistical methodologies.
• Work independently with clients, owning deliverables end‑to‑end as an individual contributor.
• Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to knowledge sharing and organizational growth.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Science / Predictive Analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (hands‑on expertise is a must).
• Good understanding of statistical modeling, regression analysis, and ML algorithms.
• Experience in model validation and documentation.
• Strong ability to translate technical findings into meaningful business insights.
• GCP (Google Cloud Platform) exposure is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with GENAI, LLM Power BI, R, and Excel is desirable. (added plus)
