Qualifications

• DM / DrNB in Cardiology with 0–3 years of experience.
• OPD/IPD management experience recommended.
• Strong communication and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations under supervision.
• Assist in diagnosis, treatment planning and management.
• Monitor and manage admitted cardiology patients.
• Interpret ECG, 2D-Echo, TMT, Holter, and other tests.
• Assist in performing non-invasive cardiac procedures.
• Participate in cardiac emergency management.
• Coordinate patient care with nursing/technical teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and discharge summaries.
• Contribute to clinical audits, CMEs, and quality initiatives.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and prevention.

Role

The Associate Consultant Cardiology will assist the HOD / Consultant Cardiologists in providing comprehensive cardiac care, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, management, and follow-up of cardiac cases. The role involves both OPD and IPD patient management and participation in preventive cardiology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outpatient consultations under supervision of senior consultants.
• Assist in diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of cardiac patients.
• Monitor and manage patients admitted under the cardiology unit.
• Interpret ECG, 2D-Echo, TMT, Holter, and other cardiac investigations.
• Assist in performing non-invasive cardiac procedures.
• Participate in cardiac emergency management (chest pain, cardiac arrest, arrhythmia, etc.).
• Coordinate patient care with nursing and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate and updated medical records and discharge summaries.
• Provide inputs for clinical audits, CMEs, and quality initiatives in the department.
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiac health, risk factors, and preventive care.
