Job summary

Vibehackers is seeking an AI Integration Developer to build and maintain intelligent automation pipelines that connect LLM/ NLP models with Veradigm PM APIs, accelerating revenue cycle management in healthcare.

You will design middleware, automate high‑volume admin workflows like statements and prior authorizations, and develop OCR/AI extraction pipelines while enforcing HIPAA compliance and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Veradigm PM/EHR APIs or equivalent Tier‑1 ambulatory PM systems.
• Experience with AI/LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI APIs for parsing unstructured medical documentation.
• Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth2 authentication, SQL, and webhook architectures.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements for handling PHI in automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain middleware connecting AI tooling with Veradigm PM/EHR APIs for eligibility verification and claim status retrieval.
• Automate high-volume administrative workflows including patient statements, payment posting validation, and prior authorization tracking.
• Build LLM/NLP-driven agents to audit clinical documentation and suggest ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Develop pipelines to extract, validate, and process intake forms and patient documents using OCR and AI extraction tools.
• Create predictive ML pipelines to analyze remittance data (835/ERA) for denial root-cause analysis and automate appeal generation.
• Integrate internal databases, third-party billing/EHR platforms, and forms via APIs, scripts, or automation frameworks.
• Ensure all pipelines and data transfers comply with HIPAA and other PHI protection requirements.
• Implement human-in-the-loop checkpoints for critical decision points.

We are hiring an AI Integration Developer to design and implement intelligent automation pipelines connecting AI/LLM tooling with Veradigm Practice Management (PM) APIs and related healthcare systems to accelerate Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflows and reduce manual administrative work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain middleware that connects internal AI tooling with Veradigm PM/EHR APIs for eligibility verification, charge capture, and claim status retrieval.
• Automate high-volume administrative workflows including patient statements, payment posting validation, and prior authorization tracking.
• Build LLM/NLP-driven agents to audit clinical documentation, extract key data points, and suggest ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Develop pipelines to extract, validate, and process intake forms and patient documents (PDFs, images, scanned files) using OCR and AI extraction tools.
• Create predictive ML pipelines to analyze remittance data (835/ERA) for denial root-cause analysis and automate appeal generation.
• Integrate internal databases, third-party billing/EHR platforms, and forms via APIs, custom scripts, or automation frameworks.
• Ensure all pipelines and data transfers comply with HIPAA and other PHI protection requirements.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with Veradigm PM/EHR APIs or equivalent Tier‑1 ambulatory PM systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of clearinghouse data exchange standards, including EDI 837 (claims) and EDI 835 (remittances)/835/ERA.
• Practical experience with AI/LLM frameworks and APIs such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI APIs for parsing unstructured medical documentation.
• Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth2 authentication, SQL, and webhook‑based architectures.
• Familiarity with OCR and document extraction techniques for PDFs, images, and scanned files.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for handling PHI in automated systems.
