Job summary

E4 Software Services Pvt Ltd, based in Pune, seeks an experienced SAP Test Automation Engineer to lead automated testing of SAP S/4HANA environments, including RISE Private Cloud. You will design and maintain Tosca scripts, automate SAP GUI and Fiori, and cover critical business processes end-to-end from Order-to-Cash to Record-to-Report.

The role requires strong defect analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with SIT/UAT and regression testing in large SAP programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of SAP test automation experience, with at least 4 years using Tosca.
• SAP S/4HANA functional or technical certification.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM test management and requirements traceability.
• Experience automating integrations, APIs, or non-SAP satellite applications.
• Exposure to data migration validation or cutover testing.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA testing in S/4HANA RISE or private cloud deployments.
• Strong understanding of SAP end-to-end business processes and cross-functional integration points.
• Proven experience automating SAP GUI and Fiori-based applications.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles in large SAP programs.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate delivery methodology and ITIL-based support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated Tosca test cases for SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Develop end-to-end automated test scenarios (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Warehouse).
• Automate SAP GUI, Fiori, API, and integration touchpoints.
• Collaborate with functional leads to translate business requirements into automated tests.
• Execute automated regression suites to support transports and upgrades.
• Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing through automation and defect validation.
• Ensure test assets trace back to requirements using SAP Cloud ALM or other tools.
• Maintain automation documentation, standards, and naming conventions within the COE.
• Optimize automation coverage to reduce manual testing and cycle time.
• Support post-go-live regression testing and production validation.

• Implement risk-based test automation strategies aligned to SAP Activate test phases
• Create and maintain Tosca reusable components, modules, and test data management strategies
• Automate SAP GUI, Fiori, API, and integration touchpoints as part of integrated test coverage
• Partner with functional leads to translate business and functional requirements into automated test scenarios
• Execute automated regression suites to support transports, releases, and quarterly SAP upgrades
• Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing through automation execution and defect validation
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and support triage with functional and technical teams
• Ensure test assets are traceable to requirements, processes, and releases using SAP Cloud ALM or approved test management tools
• Maintain test automation documentation, standards, and naming conventions within the COE
• Optimize automation coverage over time to reduce manual testing effort and cycle time
• Support post-go-live regression testing and production validation activities
• Collaborate with PMO, Release Management, and Change Control to align testing timelines and entry and exit criteria
• Monitor SAP and Tricentis release updates and recommend automation framework improvements
• Ensure testing activities comply with audit, security, and data integrity requirements
