Job description

Description:

1. Minimum 6 – 10 years of work experience with at least two projects implementation leveraging Snowflake - either migration from traditional DWHs or a fresh implementation
2. Expert level knowledge in SQL, SnowSQL, query optimization, performance tuning etc.
3. Data Modelling: Knowledge of data modelling principles and techniques.
4. Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Data Masking, Tagging, SnowPipe, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, zero copy clone, data sharing, Streams & Tasks, Time travel, Secure Data sharing, DMF, iceberg tables, Dynamic Tables, Micro Partition, Query Profiler etc.
5. Good to have Snowflake advanced concepts on Cortex AI features, search mechanism etc.
6. Cloud best Practice adoption, strategy development
7. In depth knowledge of Snowflake Virtual Warehouse, Monitoring Warehouse, Table Structures, Views, Materialized Views, Cloning etc.
8. Knowledge on Integration (ETL) and Data Ingestion, Data Conversion, and Data Migration.
9. Technically strong in Python, Pyspark
10. Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence and Agile practices
