Overview

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, J2EE, and Struts framework.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Implement MVC-based applications ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide bug fixes.

Work with relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) for backend integration.

Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Contribute to migration and modernization projects (Struts to Spring MVC/Boot, if applicable).

Required Skills

Strong programming skills in Core Java, J2EE.

Hands-on experience with Struts 1.x / 2.x framework.

Good understanding of MVC architecture, Servlets, JSP, JDBC.

Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases.

Exposure to REST/SOAP Web Services.
