Job summary

Spot Your Leaders & Consulting is seeking an AVP/VP - Wealth Management Solutions to design and deliver innovative wealth management technology solutions for North American markets.

You will partner with sales, relationship teams and technologists to identify market opportunities, define GTM, and build MVPs across self-directed investing, advisor-led wealth management, and private banking.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in wealth management across business, operations & technology.
• Strong understanding of client lifecycle, trade life cycle, product management and regulation.
• Experience in wealth management domain, ideally within a wealth manager.
• Experience with commercial off-the-shelf products or data services is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Job title: AVP/ VP - Wealth Management Solutions

Who are we looking for?

• A seasoned Solutions professional with a solid understanding of wealth management technology solutioning, who can design and deliver innovative solutions relevant to wealth management in North American markets.
• The successful candidate will have demonstrable success in designing and delivering solutions and large transformation initiatives that impact key business metrics across wealth management segments.
• S/he would work closely with our relationship and sales teams as well as technologists to bring the best of our organization to clients by helping identify market opportunities, designing and creating solutions and related collateral shaping, defining the Go-To-Market strategy, and helping build a qualified sales pipeline.

What you will be doing

• Analyze the market to identify opportunities.
• Develop proactive propositions and collateral to take to clients.
• Help in defining the GTM strategy, and work with colleagues to showcase these solutions to our clients and prospects.
• Design and build MVPs in the following business areas:
• Self-directed investing.
• Advisor-led wealth management.
• Private banking.
• Supporting functions: compliance and supervision, sales and marketing, back office and custodial functions, amongst others.
• Explore and develop partnerships with third parties as useful.
• Present capabilities and credentials to third parties like the analyst and third-party advisor community.
• You will be measured through your contribution to the growth of revenue from wealth management clients.

Who we’re looking for

• At least 15 years of experience in the business of wealth management - across business, operations & technology
• Must have a great understanding of overall wealth management business, including client lifecycle management, the trade life cycle, product management, regulation, and asset classes.
• You must have worked in the wealth management domain, preferably within a wealth manager, ideally in a business function like
• Product management
• Client management/client coverage
• Trade middle or back office
• Compliance and supervision
• Experience in commercial off the shelf products or data services used in the space is a bonus.
• An appreciation of how emerging technologies are changing the playing field.
• The right qualities: can-do attitude, team-building capability, problem solving, and excellent communication.
