Vice President – Technical & R&D

Our client is a leading Indian manufacturer of lubricants, greases, oils, and specialty petroleum products, headquartered in Mumbai with a strong presence across India and global markets.

Job Ref: 3015

Role Responsibilities

• Lead R&D and innovation for lubricants, greases, and DEF, including new product development, reformulations, scale-up, and commercialization in line with global standards.
• Provide technical leadership and customer support, including OEM approvals, field trials, complaint resolution, and technical documentation.
• Ensure strong Quality Control systems, standardized testing, SPC implementation, and laboratory accreditations across all locations.
• Drive Quality Assurance and QMS compliance (ISO, IATF, API, BIS, OEM), audits, supplier quality, and product consistency.
• Oversee regulatory and statutory compliance, including DEF norms, environmental, safety, and industry regulations.

Must Have Experience

• 18+ years of progressive experience in lubricants and greases.
• Minimum 8–10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing R&D and quality functions.
• Proven experience managing multi-plant, pan-India operations.
• Strong exposure to OEM approvals, audits, and global quality standards.
