Job summary

Citi in Pune, India is seeking a skilled Project/Program Manager to drive process transformation within Markets Operations. You will partner with Middle Office and technology to deliver aligned operating models and measurable benefits.

The role requires strong PM/BA capabilities, exceptional communication, and a track record in delivering complex initiatives in financial services. Full-time on-site role with Citi’s global opportunities.

Qualifications

• PM/BA with proven track record delivering process transformation projects.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and MS Excel proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Experience in Markets Operations or related financial services domain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Middle Office/operations to define and execute target operating model.
• Manage multiple projects ensuring alignment to business goals and target state.
• Develop program governance and stakeholder management plans to drive planning and execution.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and issues; drive resolution and mitigate impacts.
• Capture clear business requirements; ensure they are strategic and measurable.
• Collaborate with technology to align delivery plans with Operations requirements.
• Oversee testing streams and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with internal/external teams.
• Prepare and deliver status updates and presentations to management.

Team/Role Overview

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

What you’ll do

• * Partner with Middle Office/operations to define and execute on target operating model.
• * Responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects and their alignment to business goals and target state.
• * Execute established project management disciplines including the development of program governance and effective stakeholder management to drive planning and execution
• * Identify, prioritise and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues to resolution.
• * Generate business requirements ensuring they are clearly documented and strategic in nature.
• * Work with sponsors to ensure that there are measurable trackable, tangible benefits and associated KPIs.
• * Work collaboratively with technology, ensuring there are clear delivery plans aligned to Operations strategic requirements and hold delivery plan owners to account.
• * Manage testing work streams, drive User Acceptance Testing collaborating with internal and external teams where required.
• * Develop and deliver presentations to Markets Operations and business management covering project / program status and plans.
• * Contribute to the design and delivery of Operations training plans and materials, present training to small and large groups as required.
• * Provide subject matter expertise for internal queries relating to appropriate projects.

What we’ll need from you

• * Bachelor’s/University degree
• * Strong working knowledge of global markets preferred
• * Proven track record of managing Process Transformation projects
• * Critical thinking and Strong analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail Strong interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills
• * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• * Strong project management / business analysis skills
• * Strong knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• * JIRA experience a plus
• * Ability to lead and execute large front to back process reviews
