Job summary

Fortunize India Technology Solutions Private Limited seeks an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to lead design and development of modern low-code applications for financial services using Mendix.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into Mendix solutions, integrate with REST APIs and data services, and ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices while staying current with Mendix updates.

Qualifications

Job description

Our technology team seeks to add an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to its growing ranks. This individual will work as a member of our technology team and will take the lead in designing and developing modern low-code applications supporting our investment strategies using the Mendix platform. We are reaching out to individuals who possess expertise in Mendix application development, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of software development principles, particularly within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and Mendix solutions.
• Enable integration of Mendix applications with proprietary solutions and third-party vendor systems via REST APIs, OData, and web services.
• Ensure application quality, performance, and adherence to Mendix best practices and development standards.
• Stay abreast of Mendix platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our development practices

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, data modeling, and application architecture.
• Mendix certification (Intermediate or Advanced) is strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience in the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to credit or hedge funds.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and provide technical leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, maturity, an eye for business, proactivity, and an excellent attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• 7+ years of progressive experience developing applications with a significant portion focusing on the Mendix platform.
• Experience in the financial services industry, preferably within a credit or hedge fund.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data integration patterns is preferred.
• Experience with Mendix cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management is preferred.
