Job Purpose
This is a leadership role responsible for defining & executing a solid DIGITAL growth strategy to drive rapid & sustainable business growth. Business growth, here, primarily refers to the customer growth through profitable new customer acquisition and driving recruitment for various business / product lines to deliver the desired revenue outcomes. Overall responsibility will encompass understanding & optimizing the entire customer lifecycle or AARRR - Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of
the business outcomes from all digital channels own, social & others, ensuring they are aligned to the digital vision and delivering maximum value to the wider business.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
- Drive & deliver new customer acquisition on digital. Responsible for scaling digital acquisitions for the company through organic & paid marketing, SEO, content marketing & partnerships.
- Own the overall growth strategy, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company's user acquisition and retention goals.
- Lead development and execution of data-driven growth strategies across multiple channels, driving measurable results at every stage of the customer journey - from awareness to activation, retention, and re-engagement
- Own the delivery of all initiatives on Digital Marketing & Digital Assets
- Oversee multi-channel marketing strategies across digital advertising, email marketing, SEO, content, partnerships, and social media.
- Analyze user behavior and funnel performance, providing actionable insights to improve conversion rates, retention & overall RoI.
- Partner with the product and customer teams to build tailored growth initiatives that speak to different segments of our user base.
- Manage a budget and allocate resources across channels to maximize growth and ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performance growth marketing team, fostering a culture of experimentation, learning & innovation. Provide strong leadership & mentorship to a growing marketing team, providing direction, support and opportunities for development
- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture that encourages creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in digital marketing and digital assets benchmarked to the best in class across industries
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
- Proven experience in growth marketing, with a track record of building, scaling a sizeable business
- Significant hands‑on experience with a strong focus on user acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing.
- Significant leadership experience, with a track record of building, scaling, and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including paid ads, email, SEO, content, and social media.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale growth teams, fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to analyze and leverage user data to optimize marketing efforts and drive ROI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in Business strategy and planning, Business modelling, Market research, design thinking, and lean start-up methods, Customer experience design of digital products and services, Digital / software product management in large scale environments.
- Excellent business acumen, including with an in-depth understanding of the contribution of the overall digital strategy to the wider business strategy
- Deep understanding of the evolving digital world from both the demand and supply perspective
Must have technical / professional qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
- 12 or more years of business experience, ideally in marketing, Technology related Product management, Customer Experience
- Five or more years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs
- Risk-taking, entrepreneurial management style, ability to navigate in uncertainty and being adaptive.
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills
- Excellent financial management skills, including P&L management
