Our VP/AVP position will hold a key role within the Real Estate & Structured Credit Underwriting (RESCU) team administering a portfolio of asset securitization transactions. The underwriter should be a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to directional credit strategies by considering their application in the underwriting of private credit transactions and the credit financing business. The role pertains to Asset Backed Securities (ABS) related credit facilities and requires extensive product knowledge, deep corporate credit expertise, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to review and assess legal documents thoughtfully. The role impacts the overall effectiveness of the ICM Organization and requires good judgment and ongoing discretion in all business situations. The underwriter must be able to manage complex deliverables, heavy volumes and tight timelines while remaining focused on internal policy and regulatory compliance. Contribution will also involve counsel related to the optimization of technology or efficiency of operations related to the business.
