Job summary

HCLTech Bengaluru seeks a senior Program/Project Manager with 10+ years in PM and 4+ years in VLSI/silicon development. You will lead end-to-end programs, coordinate across engineering, product, QA and design, and ensure delivery aligns with customer processes and regulatory requirements.

You should have hands-on experience in silicon workflows (architecture, RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, tapeout) and strong stakeholder communication. PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in program or project management.
• 4+ years in PM within VLSI or silicon development environments.
• Experience in architecture, RTL design, verification, DFT, physical design, tapeout, and silicon validation.
• Experience in regulated industries (automotive or compliance-focused).
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, QA, design.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical plans with milestones.
• Proficient with estimation methods and planning tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).
• PMP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Overall 10+ year experience, Minimum 4+ years of experience in project / program management; with strong knowledge within VLSI, silicon development/ engineering environments.
• Hands‑on experience in at least one/more silicon development workflow, and familiarity in end-to-end silicon development - architecture, RTL design, verification, DFT, physical design & STA, tapeout cycles and Silicon validation
• Experience working in regulated industries, preferably automotive or other compliance‑centric verticals.
• Proven experience collaborating with engineering, product, QA, design, and cross‑functional teams to define scope, requirements, and program roadmaps.
• Skilled in translating business objectives into actionable technical plans with clear milestones and success metrics.
• Experienced in applying industry‑standard estimation methods, and using tools/techniques for effort estimation, work package sizing, and complexity analysis.
• Proficient with project management tools including Microsoft Project (MPP), Jira, Confluence, and other planning/scheduling tools.
• PMP certification preferred and considered a strong advantage.
