Job summary

Skyroot Aerospace is seeking a Creative Visual Storyteller to translate space technology, people, and missions into engaging video content for digital platforms. You will conceptualize, shoot, and edit short- and long-form materials, producing reels, interviews, explainers, and event highlights.

With 2–5 years in video production or storytelling, you’ll craft compelling narratives that simplify complex topics while maintaining accuracy, collaborating across teams, and ensuring Skyroot’s visual

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in video production, filmmaking, branded content, or digital storytelling.
• Strong expertise in video shooting, editing, and post-production workflows.
• Excellent visual storytelling ability and creative judgment.
• Ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments and capture compelling real-world moments.
• Strong understanding of social media content trends and digital-first storytelling.
• Experience in technology, automotive, aerospace, engineering, or deep-tech industries is an advantage but not mandatory.
• A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, storytelling, and production quality.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging short-form and long-form video content.
• Create visual stories around rockets, propulsion systems, manufacturing, testing, launches, people, and company culture.
• Produce reels, social media content, interviews, explainer videos, campaign films, event highlights, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Simplify complex technical topics into visually compelling and accessible stories while maintaining accuracy.
• Develop storyboards, shot lists, visual treatments, and creative concepts from briefs.
• Support major launches, events, and missions through both planned and real-time content creation.
• Collaborate on photography and video production requirements across teams.
• Maintain consistency in Skyroot's visual identity across all content formats.
• Organize and manage footage libraries, archives, and reusable visual assets.
• Coordinate with external filmmakers, editors, agencies, and production partners when required.
• Support initiatives across Brand, Content & Social and Brand, Community & Experience functions.
