Job summary

FLAME University is seeking a Visual Media Specialist who can shoot, light, and produce AI-driven videos from concept to final render. You will drive campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling across channels.

You'll own scripting, storyboarding, editing, color, and delivery using Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI video tools to ensure cohesive narratives and high production quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in videography, video production, motion design, or graphic design.
• Strong portfolio showing original shot footage, video/animation, and static design.
• Strong shooting skills with professional cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
• Ability to own end-to-end content creation from concept to delivery.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Hands-on with AI video generation tools for full-length AI videos.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, edit, and finish live-action video from raw footage to final delivery.

About the Role

We're looking for a Visual Media Specialist who's as comfortable behind a camera and setting up lights as they are producing a full-length AI video from first frame to final render. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on production, design craft, and next-gen content creation - one day you're lighting and shooting a product film, the next you're cutting a reel in Premiere or storyboarding an AI-generated short.

The work spans the full marketing mix - social, print, and digital - across campaigns, product launches, and brand communications. If it needs to look good and get attention, it'll land on your desk.

You'll work closely with marketing, brand, and leadership teams to bring campaigns to life across every channel.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, edit, and finish live-action video - from raw footage through color, sound, and pacing to final delivery
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio gear for studio and on-location shoots, delivering high-quality video and stills
• Produce end-to-end video content - from scripting and storyboarding through editing, motion graphics, and delivery
• Create full-length AI-generated videos using tools like Runway, Pika, Kling, or Sora, including scene consistency, audio integration, and post-production polish
• Develop 2D animation and motion graphics for social, ads, explainers, and brand content
• Produce campaign design work across Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Design platform-specific social content - posts, stories, reel covers, and carousels
• Create print-ready collateral - brochures, flyers, packaging, posters, and banners
• Design digital marketing assets - web banners, email templates, landing page visuals, and ad creatives
• Maintain brand consistency across video, motion, print, digital, and social
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to turn briefs into compelling visual narratives
• Stay current with AI creative tools and integrate them into the production pipeline
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently, with strong attention to detail

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in videography, video production, motion design, or graphic design
• Strong portfolio showcasing original shot footage, video/animation, and static design
• Strong shooting skills - well-composed, well-exposed video and stills using professional cameras, lenses, and lighting
• Hands-on with lights, cameras, and audio gear, including lighting setups, exposure, framing, and on-set problem-solving
• Ability to own end-to-end content creation - concept and script through shoot, edit, and delivery
• Strong video editing skills - cutting, pacing, color correction, sound sync, and finishing on real footage (not just AI-assembled content)
• Expert-level proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator (InDesign a plus)
• Hands-on experience producing content with AI video generation tools, with the ability to plan and execute a full-length AI video (not just short clips)
• Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition for video
• Solid grasp of branding, typography, and layout
• Understanding of print production (bleed, CMYK, resolution, die lines) and digital/social specs
• Ability to work independently and manage production timelines

Nice to Have

• Experience with 3D tools (e.g., Cinema 4D) or generative 3D/AI pipelines
• Prior agency or in-house brand team experience
