Virohan is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 7–12 years of post‑qualification experience to own statutory accounting, monthly close, audit, taxation, compliance and the control environment. You will report to the CFO and lead a four‑member finance team, coordinating with outsourced partners to ensure accuracy and governance.
The role emphasizes judgement, controls, audit readiness and high‑quality reporting for boards, investors and lenders as the company scales through Series C and beyond.
Founded about a decade ago by Kunaal Dudeja, Nalin Saluja, and Archit Jayaswal, Virohan is an education – to – industry partner building the workforce powering India’s healthcare future.
We partner with universities and colleges across India to deliver industry – aligned programs in Healthcare and management, helping students bridge the gap between education and real – world employability.
At Virohan, we believe healthcare education needs to go beyond classrooms.
Our model combines academic learning with hands – on industry exposure and strong healthcare partnerships, ensuring students are prepared for real roles.
Today, Virohan has trained 13,000+ healthcare professionals, with a growing network of university and industry partners across the country.
Backed by global investors including Blume Ventures (India), Mynavi Corporation (Japan), Rebright Partners (Japan), Elea Foundation (Switzerland), Artha Impact (Switzerland), Bharat Inclusive Technologies Seed Fund (India), and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital (Japan), we are building at the intersection of education and healthcare – two of India’s fastest – growing sectors.
This role owns the controllership and financial reporting engine of a business that collects fees from thousands of students across 20+ campuses and settles revenue with university partners under collaboration agreements.
It is a high – ownership seat: you will report directly to the CFO, hold the statutory and control agenda end – to – end, and lead a team of four.
What makes this role distinctive.
Virohan’s finance function is deliberately lean and supported by established outsourced partners for transaction processing, GST and TDS.
This role is therefore designed as an owner of the control framework and a manager of providers – not a preparer of entries.
You will spend your time on judgement, controls, audit and reporting quality rather than on volume processing.
You will also have direct exposure to the Board, investors and lenders through the CFO.
To own statutory accounting, the monthly close, audit, taxation, compliance and the control environment for Virohan – producing reporting the Board, investors, lenders and auditors can rely on, and building the control maturity appropriate to a company moving through Series C and beyond.
