Job summary

Thinktreemedia is searching for a skilled videographer to create engaging social media content. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vertical video formats, framing, and composition skills, along with the ability to adapt to various shooting environments.

You will identify storytelling opportunities during shoots and repurpose materials across platforms to maximize reach and engagement. Familiarity with current trends and best practices in short-form video will be essential in this role.

• Repurpose a single shoot into multiple content pieces across platforms.
• Stay updated on trends, formats, and editing styles that perform well on social media.
• Contribute creative ideas during pre-production and content planning.

Content Production:

• Shoot high-quality vertical-first content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
• Capture reels, BTS content, product videos, interviews, events, and brand storytelling content.
• Execute shoots efficiently with quick setups and minimal equipment when required.
• Ensure clean audio, proper framing, and effective lighting.
• Create engaging visual sequences using B-roll and movement shots.
• Adapt to different shooting environments, including tight spaces and fast-paced production schedules.
• Capture factory walkthroughs, BTS content, machine-mounted shots, and product fly-throughs.
• Execute hyperlapse sequences, motion reveals, and dynamic transitions.
• Experiment with creative camera placements to create fresh visual perspectives.
• Understand platform-specific content behavior and audience expectations.
• Apply principles of retention, hooks, pacing, and scroll-stopping visuals.
• Understand caption-safe zones and mobile-first framing.
• Use B-roll strategically to improve storytelling and engagement.
• Stay informed on trending content formats and editing styles.
