Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Videographer role based in Coimbatore. The Videographer will capture high-quality video content for training programs, promotional campaigns, and educational events, ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include planning and storyboarding shoots, setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, recording sessions with trainers and learners, and managing both studio and location-based shoots. The Videographer will also edit footage, add graphics and basic motion elements, and prepare final videos for digital platforms and learning management systems. Collaboration with instructional designers, marketing teams, and trainers to refine concepts, maintain visual consistency, and optimize content for various formats will be an important part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in video production, including camera operation, framing, and composition for educational and promotional content.
• Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics or visual effects.
• Experience with lighting and sound setup for studio and on-location shoots, ensuring clear audio and professional visuals.
• Ability to plan shoots, create simple storyboards, and collaborate with trainers and content teams to translate learning objectives into video.
• Understanding of digital media formats, compression, and exporting for web, social media, and learning platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Relevant qualification in film, media, visual communication, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Prior experience creating educational, corporate, or training-related videos is an advantage.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and tech training environments is a plus.
