Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer (Motion-First Role)
Experience
3+ years (flexible for exceptional portfolios)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer with motion graphics as their core strength, not a secondary skill. The ideal candidate should have a strong, proven portfolio in motion graphics and hands‑on experience creating AI‑generated video content.
This role demands someone who can conceptualize, design, animate, and deliver visually striking motion‑led videos across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Graphics (Primary Focus – 60–70%)
- Conceptualize and create high-quality motion graphics for brand campaigns, ads, social media, product videos, and promos
- Design and animate:
- Logo animations
- Kinetic typography
- Explainers & UI animations
- Social-first motion content
- Translate creative briefs into compelling motion‑led visual stories
- Maintain brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries
Video Editing (Secondary Focus – 30–40%)
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms
- Seamlessly combine live footage, motion graphics, sound design, and effects
- Optimize videos for different formats (Instagram, YouTube, performance ads, etc.)
AI-Generated Video Content
- Create and experiment with AI-generated videos using tools such as:
- Runway
- Pika
- Midjourney / Stable Diffusion (for motion workflows)
- Integrate AI-generated visuals with traditional motion graphics and edits
- Stay updated with emerging AI video tools and workflows
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Motion graphics is your strongest skill — not just basic After Effects usage
- Experience creating AI-generated video content with real examples
- Strong command of:
- Adobe After Effects (expert level)
- Solid understanding of:
- Timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently from concept to final delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Motion first thinker (designs in motion, not static-first)
- Detail oriented with strong aesthetic judgment
- Curious and experimental, especially with AI tools
- Able to take feedback and iterate quickly
- Motion graphics projects (not just video edits)
- At least 1–2 examples of AI-generated or AI-assisted video content
