The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of professional video-editing experience, and strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with hands-on experience using AI in video production and creative workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of professional video-editing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows.
• Excellent command of Tamil, including grammar, pronunciation, tone, and cultural context.

Responsabilités

• Edit and produce high-quality Tamil video content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and other digital platforms.
• Handle the complete video-editing process from scripts, raw footage, and creative briefs to final output.
• Create engaging short-form and long-form content with strong storytelling and audience retention.

• Use AI-assisted workflows to enhance video creation, editing, visuals, audio, and overall production efficiency.

Maven Labs is looking for a skilled and experienced AI Video Editor (Tamil) to join our creative and content team. The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of professional video-editing experience, strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, and hands‑on experience using AI in video production and creative workflows.

The role involves creating engaging, high‑quality Tamil content for digital platforms while combining strong editing skills with modern AI‑driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high‑quality Tamil video content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and other digital platforms.
• Handle the complete video‑editing process from scripts, raw footage, and creative briefs to final output.
• Create engaging short‑form and long‑form content with strong storytelling and audience retention.
• Work closely with content writers, creative teams, and designers to execute video concepts.
• Use AI‑assisted workflows to enhance video creation, editing, visuals, audio, and overall production efficiency.
• Work with AI‑generated assets, graphics, images, footage, voiceovers, subtitles, and other creative elements.
• Adapt and repurpose content into different formats and platform‑specific versions.
• Maintain high standards of visual quality, audio, branding, and overall production.
• Stay updated with new AI‑driven video and content‑production workflows.

Strong hands‑on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for professional video editing, including timeline editing, cutting, pacing, transitions, audio, color correction, subtitles, effects, and platform‑specific exports.

AI Video Editing:

Practical experience using AI tools and AI‑assisted workflows for video creation, editing, visual generation, voice/audio, subtitles, content enhancement, repurposing, or other aspects of video production.

Creative Editing Skills:

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, hooks, audience retention, B‑roll, transitions, sound design, music, graphics, motion, color, and social‑media‑first editing.

• Experience with other video‑editing, motion graphics, VFX, or post‑production software will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality work within deadlines.

Requirements:

• 5–6 years of professional video‑editing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools and AI‑assisted creative workflows.
• Excellent command of Tamil, including grammar, pronunciation, tone, and cultural context.
• Strong understanding of Tamil‑speaking audiences and regional content.
• Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and other digital platforms.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous video‑editing work.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
