Job summary

TutorsTap is seeking a creative Video Editor in Ahmedabad to transform raw footage into engaging content. You will edit for social media, ads, and branding, using professional tools to craft polished videos with compelling storytelling.

The role requires 1–2 years of professional editing experience, strong sense of pacing and aesthetics, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. On-site collaboration with the creative team is expected.

• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, transitions, and music synchronization.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, advertisements, branding, and digital platforms.
• Create engaging reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, and video ads.
• Work with raw footage, audio, graphics, transitions, effects, and animations to create polished final videos.
• Add motion graphics, text animations, visual effects, sound effects, subtitles, and colour corrections.
• Understand briefs and convert creative concepts into compelling video content.
• Select appropriate music, footage, transitions, and visual elements according to the brand and content requirements.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, branding, quality, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, social media teams, and creative teams.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, AI tools, visual effects, and social media formats.
