The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect our vision. This role will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to bring visual storytelling to life and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive, polished final product that aligns with the brand's style and objectives.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging video content for digital platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Storytelling: Utilize editing techniques to convey compelling narratives and maintain viewer engagement throughout the video.
• Motion Graphics & Effects: Add text overlays, animations, transitions, and other motion graphics to enhance video content.
• Sound Editing: Edit and balance sound to improve audio quality, sync sound with video, and add appropriate background music or sound effects.
• Color Grading: Apply color correction and grading to enhance visual quality and ensure consistency across projects.
• File Management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring efficient workflow and storage of assets.
• Revisions & Feedback: Accept feedback and make revisions to ensure the final product meets project requirements and brand standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of video editing experience with a portfolio showcasing editing and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolution standards.
• Knowledge of sound design, color correction, and video effects.
• Excellent attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
