Job summary

Gajab is building a fast-growing ecommerce platform and seeks a video editor who thinks in Hinglish, delivering content that people read, click, share and buy. You’ll switch between reels, ads, and scripts while maintaining a clear narrative and brand voice.

Join a young, high-energy team and help craft short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and campaigns. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and opportunities to grow your skills across formats and IPs.

Qualifications

• 1.5 - 2 years of video editing experience.
• Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro & DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Experience in editing for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and ads.
• Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, consistently delivering high-quality work under pressure.
• Capable of adapting editing style and tone to suit multiple distinct IPs.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce up to 15 short-form video clips (under 60 seconds each) daily, primarily for social media platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, as well as digital advertisements.
• Work with raw footage to create compelling narratives and visually appealing content that aligns with different brand guidelines and objectives.
• Apply strong understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling to maximize viewer engagement within short formats.
• Implement color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance video quality and impact.
• Ensure all exported videos adhere to specified formats, codecs, and platform-specific settings.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, consistently meeting tight daily deadlines.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality, on-brand content.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in short-form video content and editing techniques.

We’re building a fast-growing ecommerce platform and are looking for a copywriter! Someone who thinks in Hinglish and writes content that people don’t just read; they click, share, and buy from. If you can switch between push notifications, ad copies, and scripts without losing the plot then this role is for you.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
