Job summary

CuringBusy is expanding its creative team and seeks a skilled Video Editor to craft engaging content for marketing and client projects. This is a remote role with flexible collaboration across time zones.

You will edit raw footage, add motion graphics, overlays, transitions and sound, optimize for YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram, and deliver on-brand videos on tight timelines. 1–2 years’ experience required; portfolio mandatory.

• 1–2 years of proven experience in video editing.
• Portfolio required.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of social media video formats and best practices.

We are expanding our creative team and seeking a skilled Video Editor to craft engaging visual content that strengthens our brand and supports client projects.

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content for marketing, social media, and client campaigns.


• Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.


• Collaborate with the marketing and project teams to understand creative requirements and deliver on-brand videos.


• Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).


• Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of edits.


• Stay updated with video editing trends, tools, and techniques.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required).


• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).


• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Knowledge of social media video formats and best practices.


• Creative mindset with problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with animation or motion graphics.


• Familiarity with audio editing and color correction.


• Prior work in client-facing or agency environments.
