Job summary

Kody Technolab Ltd. in India is seeking a creative Video Editor to bring our robotics vision to life through high-impact videos, product stories, brand campaigns, and investor-grade communication assets.

You will edit raw footage of robots, software platforms, and customer deployments to produce marketing, product demos, and investor-grade assets. The role requires strong aesthetics, storytelling, pacing, and ability to translate technical content into engaging visuals.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or visual storytelling.
• Experience using AI video editing and image creation tools.
• Ability to edit fast-paced and slow cinematic styles.
• Great sense of pacing, transitions, music sync, and visual flow.
• Curious about AI, robotics, automation, and futuristic tech storytelling.
• Excellent attention to detail, color sense, typography, and aesthetics.
• Ability to work under timelines while maintaining quality.
• Experience in filming (camera operation, lighting) is a strong advantage.
• Portfolio demonstrating product videos, brand films, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, product demos, events, and social media.
• Create short-form videos (reels, shorts, teasers, reveal videos) for brand amplification.
• Produce long-form content such as walkthroughs, interviews, explainer videos, and case studies.
• Craft cinematic, engaging product videos that highlight robotics features & interactions.
• Create animated visuals, UI overlays, transitions, product callouts, and brand identity elements.
• Design intro/outro sequences aligned with Kody’s brand identity.
• Add AI-focused, futuristic elements & visual cues where required.
• Work closely with marketing, robotics, product & design teams.
• Provide creative direction during shoots; ability to plan and storyboard is a strong plus.
• Collaborate with internal designers and external agencies when needed.
• Understand brand tonality, engineering accuracy, and storytelling intent.
• Color grading, sound design, music selection & audio cleanup.
• Manage and organize footage, proxies, archives, and project files.
• Ensure all exports meet platform specs (LinkedIn, YouTube, social media, presentations, events).

Role Overview

You willbe responsible forcreating world-class video content thatshowcasesour robots, software platforms, customer deployments, brand campaigns, and corporate communication.This includes product videos, launch films, explainer videos, reels, motion graphics, and video assets for presentations, events, and PR.

You must understand aesthetics, storytelling, pacing, and be able to interpret technical content to craft engaging visual narratives.
