About the Role
As a Video Editor at RA Services, you will play a key role in creating high-quality visual content that supports marketing campaigns, brand building, and client deliverables. You will be responsible for editing, enhancing, and optimising video content across multiple digital platforms. Your work will directly contribute to storytelling, audience engagement, and measurable marketing outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Editing marketing, promotional, and brand videos for clients and internal use.
- Creating short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Adding motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music where required.
- Ensuring videos are optimised for different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.
- Collaborating with the marketing and content teams to align visuals with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Managing revisions based on feedback while meeting deadlines consistently.
This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of visual storytelling.
Requirements
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
Skills:
- Basic understanding of video editing principles, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of colour correction, audio syncing, and video compression.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and creative briefs accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn new tools, styles, and editing techniques.
Experience:
- No prior full-time experience required; suitable for freshers or recent graduates.
- Previous internships, freelance work, or personal projects in video editing will be an advantage.
- A basic portfolio or sample work (if available) is preferred.
Other Job Details
Work Schedule:
6-day workweek, 9 am to 5 pm.
A mandatory probation period of 3 months applies from the date of joining.
During probation, performance, skill development, quality of output, and adherence to timelines will be evaluated.
Successful completion of the probation period is required for role confirmation.
