Job summary

Jobixo in Gurugram seeks a skilled video editor to assemble captured footage into a coherent, engaging final product, ensuring continuity and high quality across scenes.

In this role you will review the shooting script and raw material, create rough and final cuts, and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the project, while continuously exploring new editing technologies to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience editing film/videos to create coherent narrative.
• Portfolio required showing editing range and timing.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and edit film pieces to be invisible to the audience.
• Take a brief to grasp production teams needs and specifications
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
