Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a creative Video Editor for our film and news content team. You will edit raw footage, craft compelling visuals, and ensure timely delivery for both news stories and feature content.

You will work with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to produce polished videos, including social clips and branded promos. A strong sense of storytelling and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience in video editing for film or news content.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or After Effects.
Strong storytelling and visual sense.
Ability to meet tight deadlines, especially for breaking news.
Solid understanding of digital media trends and formats.

Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into engaging videos for news and film content.
Handle breaking news edits with quick turnaround.
Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and sound effects.
Perform color correction and audio enhancements.
Create social media clips, reels, and promotional videos.
Optimize videos for web platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
