Job summary

AVGC Studios is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will craft engaging content for digital and social media, with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual style.

You will edit for international projects, add transitions, motion graphics, text, sound, and basic VFX, and collaborate with the creative team to deliver high-quality videos on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro
• Good working knowledge of After Effects is preferred
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, and sound
• Knowledge of social media video formats and trends
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team

• Work closely with the creative and content teams to understand briefs and deliver high-quality videos.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, branding, and storytelling.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently.
• Keep up with current video editing trends and formats.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Good working knowledge of After Effects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, and sound.
• Knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Good to Have

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator.
