Job summary

Let's Stay is seeking a skilled video editor to edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, marketing, and promotional campaigns across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other channels.

You will organize raw footage, manage assets, and collaborate with content, marketing, and design teams to ensure brand guidelines are followed and deadlines met.

Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut and a keen eye for color, audio, and pacing are required.

• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement.
• Collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to understand video requirements.
• Follow brand guidelines to maintain consistency in visual style, fonts, colors, and overall presentation.
• Review feedback and make necessary revisions within deadlines.
• Keep up with current video-editing trends, social media formats, and creative styles.
• Ensure videos are properly formatted and optimized for different platforms such as -Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
• Maintain an organized archive of completed projects and source files.
• Deliver projects within the assigned timeline and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the marketing/social media team for content requirements and deadlines.
• Make revisions based on feedback from management/marketing team.

Technical Responsibilities

• Work efficiently with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, da Vinci Resolve, or Cap Cut.
• Perform video cutting, trimming, sequencing, colour correction, colour grading, audio mixing, and noise reduction.
• Sync external audio with video and maintain proper audio levels.
• Use motion graphics, key frames, masking, chroma key/green screen, and basic visual effects where required.
• Export videos in appropriate formats and resolutions for Instagram, YouTube, websites, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
• Understand different aspect ratios and resolutions, such as 9:16 for Reels/Shorts and 16:9 for YouTube.
• Compress and optimize videos while maintaining good visual quality.
• Maintain proper file naming, folder structure, project files, and backups.
• Ensure videos meet platform-specific duration, resolution, codec, frame-rate, and file-size requirements.
