Job summary

BREMER LLOYD in India seeks an experienced leader to head the Project Logistics division, based in Chennai or Mumbai with hybrid work. You will drive revenue, profitability and P&L ownership while expanding high-value project cargo opportunities globally.

You will build client and carrier relationships, shape strategic growth, ensure operational excellence and mentor the Project Logistics team across domestic and international markets. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in Project Logistics with a strong track record.
• Proven ability to generate revenue and independently manage a P&L.
• Deep knowledge of project logistics industry and its requirements.
• Established network of clients, carriers and industry partners.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.

YOUR TASKS

You lead and strategically develop our Project Logistics business in India, including:

• Taking full responsibility for revenue, profitability and P&L
• Identifying, securing and executing high-value project cargo opportunities
• Developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives across domestic and international markets
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, service providers and other key stakeholders
• Managing commercial performance and ensuring that agreed business targets are achieved
• Ensuring operational excellence, quality and compliance with industry standards
• Leading and developing the Project Logistics team
• Working closely with our international offices to create competitive and sustainable transport solutions
• Identifying market opportunities and transforming them into long-term business relationships

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Engineering, Marine Studies or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in Project Logistics with a strong track record of success
• Proven ability to generate revenue and independently manage a P&L
• Deep knowledge of the project logistics industry and its operational and commercial requirements
• Established network of clients, carriers and industry partners
• Strong leadership, negotiation and decision-making skills
• High level of integrity, commitment and reliability
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to independently drive business growth
• Passion for logistics and enthusiasm for new challenges
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Additional certification in chartering is an advantage
