  • Partner with senior leadership to set priorities, operating rhythms, and execution standards across the Analyst organization.
  • Own quality standards for portfolio data workflows, client implementations, analytics validation, and recurring deliverables.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science leadership to define the roadmap for portfolio analytics and institutional investment workflows.
  • Translate complex investment processes into scalable product capabilities and analytical frameworks.
  • Establish best practices, review standards, and quality controls across financial models, portfolio analytics, and client deliverables.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex analytical, operational, and client-related challenges.
  • Collaborate directly with portfolio managers, CIOs, traders, and risk teams to understand evolving investment workflows and drive product innovation.
  • Define team goals, operational metrics, and delivery KPIs while continuously improving execution efficiency.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, portfolio management techniques, and institutional investment practices to guide both product strategy and team direction.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in institutional investing, asset management, hedge funds, portfolio analytics, risk analytics, investment technology, or client-facing analytical delivery.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including leading teams of 20+ professionals.
  • Deep expertise in portfolio performance measurement, attribution, risk analytics, portfolio construction, and institutional investment workflows.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing analytical teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience interacting with senior investment professionals and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and experience working with large financial datasets.
  • Proven ability to build scalable analyst processes, QA frameworks, documentation standards, and operating metrics in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience managing global stakeholders and collaborating across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-ranked university in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • CFA designation strongly preferred; FRM or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI Barra, Aladdin, Charles River, or similar institutional investment platforms.
