Responsibilities

• Lead the people management of actuarial teams aligned to the UK with a strong local team and clear actuarial career support
• Manage performance, development, engagement, succession, compensation inputs and other core people processes
• Act as the local point of contact for UK leaders on India-based team matters
• Provide local entity support to the Director of Actuarial and coordinate with Risk, Finance, Technology, HR, Procurement
• Lead workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and talent deployment across teams
• Drive cost efficiency, financial planning and reporting, and contract analysis for resourcing
• Support governance, risk management, controls, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate system, data, and operational dependencies affecting actuarial delivery
• Prepare management information and papers for local and UK leadership forums
• Build relationships across local and UK functions to align priorities and timelines
• Contribute to internal actuarial leadership and wider delivery initiatives

• Lead the people management of actuarial teams aligned functionally to the UK, creating a strong local team environment and clear actuarial career support
• Manage performance, development, engagement, succession, compensation inputs and other core people processes in line with organisational policies
• Act as the principal local point of contact for UK functional leaders on India-based team matters, including structure, capacity, delivery risks and operational challenges
• Provide comprehensive local entity support to the Director of Actuarial and help drive actions across Risk, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Procurement and other relevant functions
• Lead workforce planning, new-hiring workflows, onboarding, talent movement and resource deployment across teams
• Drive cost efficiency, financial planning and reporting, contract analysis and management of relevant resourcing arrangements
• Support organisational design, governance, risk management, controls, business continuity planning and local regulatory or policy requirements
• Coordinate system, data and operational dependencies affecting actuarial delivery, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved effectively
• Prepare clear management information, presentations and decision papers for local and UK senior leadership forums
• Build effective relationships across local entity and UK functions, aligning priorities and ensuring actions are completed to agreed standards and timelines
• Contribute actively to the internal actuarial leadership agenda and support wider initiatives that strengthen delivery, talent and operational resilience
