Job summary

NVIDIA in Bengaluru is seeking a Verification Engineer to verify ASIC design and architecture, build test benches, and drive coverage-driven verification for complex IPs. You’ll work with Verilog/SystemVerilog, UVM/VMM, and collaborate with Architects, Designers, and silicon teams to ensure correct functionality.

The role emphasizes automation, debugging, and robust verification methodologies; prior ASIC validation experience and scripting skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Tech./ M.Tech. with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in verification of complex IPs/units and sub-systems.
• Verification experience using random stimulus along with functional coverage and assertion-based verification methodologies.
• Expertise in Verilog.
• Knowledge in SystemVerilog or similar HVL.
• Familiarity with verification methodologies like UVM/VMM and exposure to industry standard verification tools for simulation and debug.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the ASIC design, architecture and micro-architecture using advanced verification methodologies.
• Understands the design and implementation, defines the verification scope, develops the verification infrastructure and verifies the correctness of the design.
• Creates test plans, tests and verification infrastructure for complex IPs/sub-systems.
• Responsible for performance and deadlock verification of the GPU memory subsystem unit.
• Builds reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards following coverage driven verification methodology.
• Performs functional coverage driven verification closure.
• Collaborates with architects, designers, and pre and post silicon verification teams to accomplish tasks.
