Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a Venture Capital Senior Associate to support the investment team across the entire deal lifecycle from deal sourcing to execution and portfolio monitoring.

You will work closely with founders, investors, and senior investment professionals to evaluate high-growth investment opportunities and prepare investment materials.

Qualifications

• MBA with finance exposure and investment acumen.
• Engineering or CA qualification is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience across IB (M&A/FS) and VC investing.
• Experience on multiple investment transactions and deal execution.
• Strong financial modeling, research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the investment team in deal sourcing, evaluation and execution of VC investments.
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and company assessments.
• Build and review financial models and investment analysis.
• Prepare IC presentations and investment memos.
• Engage with founders, CXOs, and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate due diligence with legal, financial and commercial advisors.
• Assist in deal negotiations and documentation.
• Monitor portfolio companies and track performance and exits.
• Prepare investment reports and research materials for internal stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for a Venture Capital Senior Associate to support the investment team across the entire deal lifecyclefrom deal sourcing to execution and portfolio monitoring. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with founders, investors, and senior investment professionals while evaluating high-growth investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the investment team in deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution of venture capital investments.
  
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and company assessments to identify potential investment opportunities.
  
• Build and review financial models and investment analysis.
  
• Prepare Investment Committee (IC) presentations and investment memos.
  
• Engage with founders, CXOs, and industry stakeholders during deal evaluation.
  
• Coordinate and manage due diligence processes with legal, financial, and commercial advisors.
  
• Assist in deal negotiations and documentation.
  
• Monitor portfolio companies, including tracking financial performance, operational developments, and potential exit opportunities.
  
• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and research materials for internal stakeholders.
  

Candidate Profile

• MBA from a reputed business school with strong exposure to finance, accounting, and investments.
  
• Preferably Engineering graduate or Chartered Accountant.
  
• 810 years of experience across Investment Banking (M&A/Financial Sponsors) and Venture Capital investing.
  
• Experience working on multiple investment transactions and deal execution.
  
• Strong financial modeling, research, and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
