Job summary

Cloudxtreme seeks a Venafi-focused PKI specialist to automate certificate lifecycles using the Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP). The role involves building inventories, scripting with Ansible, integrating Venafi with systems, and providing expert guidance on security practices in a hybrid environment.

You will support certificate governance for around 1,000 certificates across internal and external domains, with L2 Venafi support on a 6-server setup, ensuring compliance and rapid incident

Detailed Job Description –

A Venafi certificate automation requires a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) engineer or security professional to use the Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP) to automate the certificate lifecycle by configuring drivers, Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), approvals, renewals, and revocations.

Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining certificate inventories, developing automation scripts (e.g., with Ansible) for deployment and renewal, integrating Venafi with other systems, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The role also involves providing guidance on security best practices and managing integrations within complex hybrid environments.

Operational support for Certificate Life-cycle management activities using Venafi for both internal and external certificates.
