Job summary

MRF is seeking an experienced Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineer (Ride & Handling) in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu. You will support vehicle evaluation, data acquisition, and analysis across NVH, braking, and ride & handling tests.

Role requires 5–10 years in vehicle testing, strong knowledge of dynamics, and a valid Indian driving licence (10+ years). Travel to OEM/internal tests is expected. Permanent role, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Vehicle Testing / Proving Ground Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics and Ride & Handling.
• Minimum 10 years of valid Indian driving licence with practical driving experience.
• Ability to interpret test results and convert data into actionable engineering insights.
• Experience with ISO-standard test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ride & Handling, Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, and Brake testing as per standards.
• Instrumentation, test preparation, data acquisition, and ISO procedures.
• Analyze objective data using industry tools and generate reports.
• Support pre- and post-processing of test data for development programs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and participate in proving ground tests.
• Travel as required for OEM and internal testing; ensure safety and documentation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineer specializing in Ride & Handling to support vehicle evaluation, objective testing, data acquisition, and analysis activities. The role involves executing vehicle dynamics, NVH, braking, and ride & handling tests, interpreting test results, and supporting tire and vehicle development programs through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Ride & Handling, Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, and Brake testing as per internal and customer standards.
• Conduct vehicle instrumentation, test preparation, data acquisition, and execution of ISO-standard test procedures.
• Analyze objective test data using industry-standard analysis tools and software.
• Generate technical reports and recommendations based on test findings under guidance from team leaders.
• Support pre-processing and post-processing of test data for vehicle development programs.
• Participate actively in proving ground and on-road testing activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for vehicle performance evaluation and improvement.
• Travel as required for OEM and internal testing programs.
• Ensure compliance with testing procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
