What You’ll Be Doing

• Write complex SQL queries and use data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Implement Data Lakes, data warehouses/ETL projects, and Big Data projects in on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and run test cases and study data; conduct smoke, integration, system and regression testing.
• Use PL/SQL, PySpark and SQL to frame and tune queries covering all data scenarios.
• Track software versions, features, bugs and validation efforts using JIRA, TFS (Azure DevOps) & Confluence.
• Develop and utilize test data sets, create and execute manual test scripts, and document validation results.
• Collaborate with application developers to resolve issues and retest applications.
• Support new Clario products by developing test cases, conducting testing for general and clinical services, and reporting anomalies.
• Participate in post‑production product release testing, including regression and bug‑fix testing.
• Explore opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes.
• Attend training, workshops and professional societies; stay informed about regulatory changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in software quality testing.
• Experience with pharmaceutical related software (preferred).
• In‑depth understanding of software quality assurance, preferably in a clinical data environment.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validations and quality issue probing.
• Experience with SDLC, iterative, Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle testing methodology and document management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience writing test cases based on product requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with web‑based SaaS platforms (preferred). Knowledge of cloud‑based testing (preferred).
• Programming knowledge in Python (preferred).
• Creative initiative to improve test coverage and effectiveness (preferred).
