Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical and laboratory experiments under supervision.
• Prepare samples, reagents, buffers, and laboratory materials.
• Conduct tests such as protein, enzyme, carbohydrate, lipid, and nucleic-acid analysis.
• Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment.
• Record, analyze, and interpret experimental results.
• Follow laboratory safety, quality-control, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare reports.
• Assist senior scientists with research and development projects.
• Support quality-control and quality-assurance activities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples and chemicals.
• Analyze DNA, RNA, and protein sequence data.
• Perform sequence alignment and similarity searches.
• Work with biological databases such as NCBI, UniProt, and Ensembl.
• Assist with genomic and transcriptomic data analysis.
• Perform data cleaning, processing, and visualization.
