Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems is seeking a V&V Senior Engineer in Hyderabad to validate product functionality, execute manual and exploratory tests, and drive quality across HW-SW integration. You will plan tests, maintain traceability, report findings, and work with engineering and customers on test reviews.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing across Windows/Linux environments, with exposure to API/database testing and automation opportunities. Relevant ISTQB is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Five (5)+ years of relevant experience in product testing, software QA, or a Verification & Validation (V&V) environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and exploratory testing.
• Practical experience with Hardware-Software Integration Testing (H-SIT).
• Experience preparing, maintaining, and executing test cases and test plans.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Experience in defect reporting, tracking, and collaboration with development teams.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Working experience with Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities
