Role Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced UX Designer to lead the user experience and user interface design for our new product, which aims to parallel existing TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) functionalities. This role will be critical in translating complex financial operations and TLM workflows into intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-cantered design principles, a proven track record of designing complex enterprise applications, and the ability to collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and TLM subject matter experts.

Your key responsibilities

User Research & Analysis:Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows related to Transaction Lifecycle Management.

• Information Architecture:Define the information architecture, site maps, and navigation flows to ensure a logical and intuitive user journey within the new application.


• Wireframing & Prototyping:Create detailed wireframes, mock‑ups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts, iteratively refining designs based on user feedback and business requirements.


• UI Design & System:Design high-fidelity user interfaces, ensuring consistency with established design systems and brand guidelines. Contribute to the evolution of our design system.


• Collaboration with TLM Experts:Work closely with TLM Product Experts to understand existing TLM functionalities, data structures, and operational processes, ensuring the UI accurately reflects and supports these complexities.


• Cross-functional Teamwork:Collaborate effectively with product managers to define product requirements, with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and implementation, and with business stakeholders to align on design vision.


• Usability Testing:Plan, conduct, and analyse usability tests to gather insights and validate design decisions, making data-driven improvements.


• Design Documentation:Produce clear and comprehensive design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications for development teams.


• Advocate for the User:Champion user-cantered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring the end-user experience is always at the forefront.


• Accessibility:Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and best practices.

Your skills and experience

Experience:Proven experience (5+ years) as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing enterprise application design.

• Portfolio:A compelling portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design for complex systems.


• User-Cantered Design:Expert knowledge of user-cantered design principles and methodologies.


• Design Tools Proficiency:Mastery of industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).


• Information Architecture:Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and usability best practices.


• Communication & Presentation:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and concepts to diverse audiences.


• Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.


• Collaboration:Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.


• Financial Domain Understanding (Preferred):Experience designing for financial services applications, particularly those involving complex data, workflows, and transaction processing (e.g., trading platforms, back-office systems, reconciliation tools) is a significant advantage.


• System Design Thinking:Experience in contributing to or working within established design systems.

Education

• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TLM systems or similar back-office financial applications.


• Experience in conducting remote user research and usability testing.


• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) to better understand implementation constraints.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
